Irrigation technician will have the responsibility to maintain Fisk Lawnscapes’ maintenance customers’ irrigation systems. Physical labor is required for this position.
Clean motor vehicle record
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Commercial irrigation experience
Desire to learn
Duties & responsibilities:
Monitor customer’s turf health per maintenance contract to initiate repair repairs and recommendations rather than react to complaints (monthly, bi weekly, or weekly property walks)
Troubleshoot irrigation problems. Including:
Commercial and Residential controllers
Spray, MP Rotator, and rotor head repair/replacement
Copper and brass sweating
Metal and plastic valves
Low-voltage electrical errors
Multi-Meter Trouble shooting
Locating and repairing line breaks
Program irrigation systems to achieve the highest level of efficiency and calculate precipitation rates
Read irrigation design plans
Communicate with customers regarding their irrigation repairs and turf condition
Report to management
Document and bill for completed work
Managing time and projects
Planning and building residential irrigation systems
Clean MVR and maintaining the organization of an irrigation truck
Maintain positive client relations and answer on-site client questions
Secure all materials and equipment needed
Ensure projects are completed on time
Demonstrate dependability and efficient work practices
Specific Job Details:
Winter schedule will include snow plowing, additional training, attendance of Pro Green conferences and home show weeks.
