Landscape Crew Lead
The Landscape tech is responsible represent Fisk Lawnscapes to our landscape customers, performing landscape tasks knowledgably and efficiently, while upholding the core values of Fisk Lawnscapes. Project timelines must be met AND the projects installations must reflect our highest standards of quality. Physical labor is required for this position.
Duties & responsibilities:
Landscape Tech 1
Has a friendly demeanor

Landscape Tech 2
Meets all Landscape Tech 1 requirements
Minimum of 6 months landscape experience
Shows diligence and initiative throughout the day.
Maintains quality work
Attentive to surroundings, work, customers, and co-workers
Cheerfully and regularly greets customers
Knowledgably installs basic parts of an irrigation system- lines, fittings, heads, nozzels and drip
Proficiently operates basic power tools- tiller, Stihl and Dewalt, for example
Practices good tool management including care and storage
Proficiently installs plants, trees, tree stakes, sod, and edging
Is able to plant two trees per hour with another Landscape tech 1 or 2
Properly installing a retaining wall after base course is set
Properly installs 30’ of retaining wall base course in a day
Promotes a good working environment with the team
Landscape Tech 3
Meets all Landscape Tech 1 and 2 requirements
Safely and proficiently operates a skid loader
Competently can sodder irrigation pipes
Knowledgably install all components of all irrigation system including valve box and wiring
Operates truck and trailer safely
Competently backs up and hitches up to trailer
Willing and able to run the crew when foreman is absent and understands how the flow of the job should go
Proficiently and safely operates power tools, including chain saw, demo saw, trencher, ect.
Properly installs 40’ of retaining wall base course in a day
Is able to plant two trees per 40 mins with another Landscape tech 1 or 2
Properly estimates material needed for an area
Has an average knowledge of materials used- rock, mulch, soil amendments ect
Willing and able to teach new crew members various tasks
Consistently demonstrates a positive and cheerful attitude towards customers and Fisk Lawnscapes team
Takes ownership of landscape projects going above and beyond for clients
Understands and practices regular care and maintenance of equipment
Specific Job Details:
A commitment to full working hours (40-50 hrs/week) throughout the complete season (April-October) is required for this position.
Potential for work during the winter as snow shoveler, skid/ATV driver, or plow truck driver.
The Landscape tech position is allowed 6 non-consecutive working days off (48 working hours) during the April-October season. These days are not paid.
Other job tasks as required or assigned.
